The Reading Rooms holiday cottage, is a lovely 3 bedroom self catering cottage in the little hamlet of North Charlton near Alnwick Northumberland. there are many activities and wonderful pieces of history near by including Alnwick castle and their world famous gardens, Bambrough castle, warkworth castle and Warkworth itself which is a lovely little village with lots of small shops and resturants. also near by is the Holy island of Lindsfarne and many, many more.

      With many beautiful country walks and bike rides that you can do from the Reading Rooms and near by villages there are endless possiblities of places to discover for kids and adults alike. with spring and summer just around the corner dont waste time get booked in soon.

Buckingham Court is a 3 bedroom duplex apartment sleeping up to 7 people next door to Reubens Court. The apartments are situated inside the York City Walls just off the historic street off Micklegate and just a 2 minute walk to Skeldergate bridge with it's beautiful views of the River Ouse. Although very well located, the properties are situated down a quiet side street guaranteeing a good nights sleep. The apartments have large screen plasma televisions with full sky package (including movies and sports), free wi-fi in all areas, dvd player with a selections of films and an ipod docking station. The double bedrooms have luxury bedding, fluffy towels and dressing gowns. Two of the Reubens apartments have en-suite shower rooms, two have a bath with shower over, all have modern fittings and motion sensitive lighting. Buckingham Court has a house bathroom with bath and shower and also an en-suite. All our guests will arrive to find a welcome pack with a bottle of wine, fresh bread and butter and a luxury pampering gift set.......... All the properties have an open plan kitchen with seating allowing you to eat in if required, the dishwashers mean you don't have to wash up....!! **PLEASE NOTE** There is a minimum stay requirement at all times of 2 nights, if your booking includes a Saturday night then the minimum stay is 3 nights. I have recently personally stayed at York Luxury Apartments and we absolutly loved it on arrival we had a bottle of wine on the table for us which as the holiday was for my girlfriends birthday was a nice extra. "Luxury apartment" is deffinitly right it was pure bliss and had a great time in york.
